Steve Hill uses a "vision" of an avalanche to show how the church is not aware of what is coming. He also uses a ski resort to focus on how the church has traded the Word of God for man-made traditions and have robbed God of His glory. The lack of preaching; lack of repentance; lack of prayer and desperation for souls has left the church as nothing more than a social club; a ski resort.Overall we need to hear this warning. Some may not like that Hill is basing this book on a vision he had but the message is good. We need to hear his call and repent. Brother Hill is now with the Lord but though he is dead; he still speaks. His message of holiness and passion for God is needed in this wicked hour.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. I couldn't download the book fast enough. The message BURNED in my heart and sent me on a year long quest which helped expose some false teachings I had heard and led me to make some very important changes. God is always gracious to reveal truth; especially when we are searching. It is bittersweet for me to be posting this review right now; as Steve went home to be with the Father last week after several years battling cancer. I was just reading the last couple chapters of the book and listening to Steve articulate his desire to one day be in eternity and that it drove everything he did here on earth. Knowing he is rejoicing with the Lord right now as I write this; brings a smile to my face.PLEASE purchase this very relevant book.
