This writer gives you a great understanding of what happened before the incident; during and after. I was about 12 years old in 1970 when one of my aunts gave me a book called; Scottsboro Boys. I read it from cover to cover because it was Very compelling. When I tried to find that same book again a couple of years ago; I came across Stories Of Scottsboro and was not dissapointed and thought that this one was more definitive. Trust me; not to take Anything away from Scottsboro Boys because it was thorough but; this one is much more detailed with giving an understanding of the times before; and during. IIt's pretty investigativly done.
