Includes these six full works:Sun Tzu -- The Art of WarJulius Caesar -- Gallic WarsEinhard -- Life of CharlemagneMachiavelli -- The PrinceCarl von Clausewitz -- On WarArdant du Picq -- Battle StudiesThe Kindle version has been available for several years; but this paperback edition is more recent.Took a chance on the small press publication quality... and was pleasantly surprised.This almost 500 page volume features quality paper and is bound in fairly sturdy fashion.The only potential drawback is the light text (im)print. The black level is closer to charcoal.For an improved reading experience; I feel that either heavy ink loading or a slightly weightier typeface is called for.Despite this; the impression was consistent throughout the volume. And I noted no broken text or ink trails.The volume is quite readable; though buyers should be aware that all six text translations are from the early 20th century.As a nice bonus; also included access to the electronic version.No guaranties; of course; as to how long this will be provided.5 of 5 people found the following review helpful.
