Downthrough the past three centuries the concept has had a many splendidmetamorphosis. Often; the dacha was hidden in a coppice of trees;not remote; but secluded.A radical break with urban routine; and therefore an opportunity toexperience a different pattern of life. There are no direct equivalents; particularly for styles of buildings.
