Great book; very large; poor index.By Stuart SmithA classic collection of mythology; with numerous quotes from poets and historians to illustrate the use of the myths. I did not give this a five rating because the index was useless - could not quickly go to categories of myths or specific ones without using a search mechanism; which can be slow with sucn an enormous tome.
