Of course I may be a bit prejudiced; since I had this book when I was a child; and it's great to feel 16 again. The Confederate Navy is one aspect of the Civil War that has not been analyzed to death; which makes your reading experience prone to be rewarding.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Nice graphics; but accompanying by incompleteBy Steve ShafferNice graphics; but accompanying by incomplete; inaccurate descriptions.... Surprised because the fuller descriptive details should have been available to the author. This volume; however; is an excellent basis afor the study of the capabilities and tactics of both navies. There are more graphics that should have Ben included.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Yes - the NAVY!By Daddy-O!Well written complimented with fine illustrations; . A great addition to my extensive (400+) WBTS library about arguably the most important period of our history. Unfortunately the rivers seas; railroads; telegraphs are all shamefully overlooked; this is a welcome addition; much more than just dry statistics!
