The Transportflieger was an important but often forgotten arm of the Luftwaffe; responsible for providing essential supplies and battlefield support to both the Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe during their World War II campaigns across Europe; Scandinavia; Russia; North Africa; the Mediterranean; and finally the Ardennes and the remains of the Reicht. This book comprehensively covers the Transportflieger and its legendary workhorse; the Ju52; in its transport; parachute; and airlift roles. Also covered are others in the wide range of interesting aircraft employed by the Transportflieger; including the massive Me321 and Me323 Gigant heavy-lift glider and six-engined transporter; as well as the impressive multi-engined Ju290; Ju352 Herkules; Ju390; and the huge Bv222 flying boat. The book's numerous photos and color artworks serve as an excellent reference for aviation historians and modelers. The book also includes first-hand reminiscences from those who actually flew with the Transportflieger during the war.

I find myself having to constantly research his claims and wording of secret government equipment and code names for certain forces in order to keep up with what he's trying to inform; which ultimately supports his claims further seeing as he knows what he's actually talking about. I really enjoyed his book and I think more people should know.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. InterestingBy Kindle CustomerIt could happen. Anything is possible; however my logic would think a war above ground would already have occurred if all these claims were real. Or at the least a faction of people would have risen up to prepare for a war as opposed to only a bunch of books written about the conspiracy. If this was all true and the *beep* hit the fan and a resistance is formed; I'd join. Just saying0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Three StarsBy Leonard F.Not as expected.
