Designed to encourage critical thinking about history; the Major Problems in American History series introduces students to both primary sources and analytical essays on important topics in U.S. history. Major Problems in American Women's History is the leading reader for courses on the history of American women; covering the subject's entire chronological span. While attentive to the roles of women and the details of women's lives; the authors are especially concerned with issues of historical interpretation and historiography. The Fourth Edition features greater coverage of the experiences of women in the Midwest and the West; immigrant women; and more voices of women of color. Key pedagogical elements of the Major Problems format have been retained: 14 to 15 chapters per volume; chapter introductions; headnotes; and suggested readings.

Machine or Landing SiteBy StevenAs a person who has been at the site of the great pyramid while people were allowed to be inside and having spent some time inside the kings chamber where a hollow stone sarcophagus lies open some of the descriptions in the book do not match. I am for a long time thought the pyramids were machines however I saw no evidence of chemical reactions in either the chambers or the incline plane shafts it took to enter.Am not going to waste any gold trying the experiment4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. A great read...By From a FAN of Smoke and MirrorsThis is the first book I've read that has put forward such an incredible theory for the true use of the Great Pyramid of Giza. I have visited the Great Pyramid on numerous occasions and concur with the author's assessment for its use. I really enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend it to anyone interested in this subject matter.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Life ChangingBy Martin M. RodriguezVery interesting read; but not enough follow up information. If wanting to get more info about obtaining Mono-atomic Gold; what other books would be recommended ?
