Sr. Faustina KowalskaBy MargaretThis is a very moving book about Sr. Faustina's experiences with Jesus as a result of her dedicating her entire soul to God. Her only mission was to pray for the lost souls of purgatory and those in the world who do not want to believe. For those of us who believe that we are dedicated Catholics; we aren't even close to what Sr. Faustina experienced. What an incredible life and what an incredible focus on the afterlife that she truly earned and received. As a result of her dedication; we have a religious celebration on the first Sunday after Easter; the Sunday of Divine Mercy; to remind us that right after Easter and before His ascension; He is still appealing to us that He is there for us; too.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. The book was informative and inspiring. I've been so inspired by her life that my spiritual life has progressed. She was the Lord's secretary and from Him came The Chaplet of The Divine Mercy.Even when the church is being torn to shreds by evil because of poor leadership I cannot leave. Her pure obedience to her superiors in the church gives me greater strength to not leave the Roman Catholic Church. The adversary she had to endure to promote The Chaplet was grave but her faith in the Lord was her rock. Her example of what true obedience is gives me strength. I continue to pray the chaplet for the abused children and adults who have left the church because of sexual abuse by priests. That prayer and her example helps me daily through all my trials in life.
