No student of history or "constitutional scholar" can assess the scope and power of American Government without knowing and understanding the thinking and purpose of America's founders. This work by Max Farrand is the most thorough and reliable source of information on the original intent and foresight of the men who created a limited government for assuring the greatest possible freedom of the people.
