Truth is sacredBy CheChristianI like to use regimental histories cuz you basically take a micro part of the Civil War or whatever air of history you haven't been Reading and get a good sense of what many typical soldiers of that day may have gone through. Also given the fact that 25% of all Union soldiers Or foreign born. It's interesting how German immigrants or in some cases treated unfairly. You wouldn't think it is there's so many cold American traditions that actually came from these German immigrants. Like the idea of barbeques and many parties on a sunday or the idea of hot dogs at the baseball game. At any rate while this book doesn't talk about those issues it's good to see a book that talks about the history of an important regimen.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
