Amazing InformationBy CustomerAn amazing amount of work went into the author creating this book which I think will become a "bible" of what life was like for a soldier in the Civil War. The author doesn't put his twist on the information; he just lets recorded history show the facts which he presents in an orderly way. Anyone interested in history surrounding the Civil War; will definitely want this book. I learned more by reading a few pages than I had ever known about life during this period of time. This book is the most comprehensive compilation of information I have ever seen on this subject and it won't disappoint you. It would be a great gift for folks in your life; too.
