Shot All to Hell by Mark Lee Gardner recounts the thrilling life of Jesse James; Frank James; the Younger brothers; and the most famous bank robbery of all time. Follow the Wild West’s most celebrated gang of outlaws as they step inside Northfield’s First National Bank and back out on the streets to square off with heroic citizens who risked their lives to defend justice in Minnesota. With compelling details that chronicle the two-week chase that followed—the near misses; the fateful mistakes; and the bloody final shootout on the Watonwan River; Shot All to Hell is a galloping true tale of frontier justice from the author of To Hell on a Fast Horse: The Untold Story of Billy the Kid and Pat Garrett; Mark Lee Gardner.

Job well doneBy mickNaturally; there is an overwhelming abundance to write about concerning 500 years of the turbulent times and consequential changes in the Christian religion. This book; along with Volume 1; is written in a fairly simplistic manner and imparts to the reader the fundamental ideas; concepts; and changes in Christianity. Personally; as a Westerner more exposed to Roman Catholicism and Protestantism; I would like a bit more discussion in the book regarding Eastern Christianity. However; when I reached the end; overall I felt more confident in my understanding of Christian history. As is the case with Volume 1; there appears to be typos in the text on a few pages.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. A lot of information that helped with my understanding of ...By Donna HornsbyA lot of information that helped with my understanding of how we have come to where we are with our faith. Sometimes the jumping around in time caused me some confusion but I don't know how else the author could give an overview of the culture as well as the events occurring that impacted Christianity. I had to keep my dictionary by my side (or available online) since some unfamiliar (not in day to day vernacular) words cropped up consistently.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
