KenosianTerrific history; thorough details woven into a comprehensive and comprehensible history. If you want a good; thorough history that includes every source imaginable; this is it.One quibble with the writing: the author frequently piles up negatives in one sentence. Simple sample-"It was not uncommon for..."One time there were so many; 4 in one long sentence; so that I had to start diagramming the sentence to figure out what it meant.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. SuperbBy Forrest R. LindseyBeautifully detailed and very well written sequence of the internal events of Nazi Germany during WWII. At times; the clear details of the vicious and numbing treatment of the Jews and Gypsies and the Russian Prisoners of War becomes overwhelming but learning about all of it is essential if we are ever to avoid repeating anything of the kind ever again.Very highly recommended.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. The Genesis and Death Spiral of the 3rd ReichBy QuelleI have read other books on this subject; but Evans books here; actually a trilogy; each about 900 pages is the ultimate read and study. The organization and coverage of all the pieces to this world event is truly amazing. I looked him up to see how he is received from his peers and sure enough; Evans is highly regarded and considered to be the source on Germany and what happen. The Holocaust is respectfully and courageously addressed in a very balanced manner; both for facts and insight. All three are a must for serious understanding.
