This book accompanies an awesome ebook that West Point uses for its students. The ebook is interactive and has more illustrations and maps than the printed book; but almost all the information in the ebook is in the printed version. There is also an iTunes U course that uses the ebook as its text that looks like it could be well worth the time to investigate. I thought the book was a great find; and was doubly pleased to find the extras in the ebook and iTunes course. I am anxious to read more of it.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Very easy to understandBy CustomerEnjoyed it greatly. It covered the background of the war. A good description of the military aspects of the battles. I thought the book would be technical and hard to understand but it was fairly easy to understand; particularly the maps. The terminology was also easy to understand; no difficult military language. At the end of the book they described reconstruction and how the country was able to pull together to fight the Spanish Amercian War and later World War I. The book summed it all up very conveniently.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Five StarsBy David A. WormhoodGreat book; excellent condition; great price
