The author is actually my professor. I have only read a few parts of this book so far; but I found it very interesting. The information flows surprisingly easily; and I have already learned a bunch without it feeling like I have been learning! It is definitely not like one of those typical; dry history textbooks.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Ignited a passion for History!By CustomerRented for a history class but considering purchasing new when my class is up. This book is incredibly interesting; heart wrenching and eye opening! I was never interested in history in grade school. As my first introduction to history in ten years; I'm so glad I ended up reading this!0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
