My father was in the 10th almost from its beginnings. He would talk about Camp Hale and how hard the training was and how cold it was. He would also talk about going to Kiska in the Aleutians and how glad he was the Japaneses had left. He also talked about how bad the weather was on Kiska and how poorly their equipment worked. However; his experience in Italy was so intense that he would seldom talk about it. I have learned his unit had a very high number of causalities. This book helps me understand exactly what he went through.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Five StarsBy RAYMOND C. CLAYthank you0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
