A very personal note.By Jeffrey L. SmithMr. Simpson has done a wonderful job. He has captured the history and given new life to the most famous battleship this country has ever produced. It is a tribute to all the sailors; and men and women who had anything to do with the Arizona's distinguished life. To me and my family it will always be a treasure. My father served on the Arizona till he received an appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy in early 1941.
