DOC Understanding Diversity: An Introduction to Class; Race; Gender; and Sexual Orientation; and Disability by Fred L. Pincus in History

Description

All the chronicle literature of ancient Mesopotamia from the early second millennium to Seleucid times is collected in this English translation of Glassner’s Chroniques Mésopotamiennes (Paris: Les Belles Lettres; 1993). In addition to revising and supplementing the French edition; this volume provides transcriptions of the cuneiform and English translations of every example of Sumerian; Assyrian; and Babylonian chronographic literature as well as seminal essays on the genre and on Mesopotamian historiography in general.

Not something that I would choose to pick up and read on my own. It doesn't read easy; because it is mostly straight forward facts one after another. The dialogue is pretty painful to get through. The book was in great shape thought and nothing wrong with the shipper; or anything like that. It really is just the content which SUCKS!0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Good information but hinders the learning processBy Curtis PetersonHonestly this book has a lot of good "data" but I used it in my diversity class; and my students did not like it at all; and definitely did not help the learning process.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. very boringBy LeilaThe book is a bunch if articles; very boring
