An inspirational text bookBy A CustomerThis is a very useful text book which should be a must have for students of American History and especially if they are taking AS/A2 exams. It covers a wide range of useful topics and sections of the book correspond with the AQA American History syllabus. It is clearly and logically set out and is easy to understand since the topics are broken down into user friendly chunks. The questions that are posed lead to better understanding and enable teachers and students to have informed debates especially with regards to foreign policy issues. This text book also serves as a very good introduction to issues such as Civil Rights for African Americans. Students can build on the background knowledge they may already have. Therefore students can use this for the A2 exam secure in the knowledge that this book will help them towards a better grade.Furthermore the diagrams help to make this an easy to digest book and they are always helpful and relevant.Clearly edited (by a very experienced chief examiner)and never over long this book is worth investing in.
