I used an e-book of this text for a two-part college course a while back; and liked it so much that I decided to get a physical copy of it. I would recommend watching for it go on sale though; as it can be quite pricey. I got mine; new; for $92. If you like History and want a text that goes from the beginning of recorded history to present day that has many insights into the daily lives of our ancestors; this may be the book for you.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Needed For HIS101/102By SamPlyA comprehensive textbook for Western Civilization. I learned a lot more than I anticipated to just from flipping pages. Many "extra" pieces of content that I have never seen in a textbook; like excerpts from famous writers of the period.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
