My only complaint is in the follow up; it mention that Jewitt died age 38; not telling us how. Perhaps it's simply not known. Either way a great read on stone age culture; in a place not so far away; and not so long ago.3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. FantasticBy Ken CosgroveI had visited this area/village this summer and wanted to follow up on the history and the way the natives lived at this time. The book provided a wealth of information of how our first nation people lived. I highly recommend this book and in fact will next summer return to search out areas that they described.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Three StarsBy Jpnarrative discription of his experiences and events; but not a story. Educational but not a "recommended" book.
