The pictures were black and white; which is always disappointing for an art book; but it was primarily text-based; so that was not too much of a problem. The "Present" that its title refers to is 2001. It was helpful for both this class and an Art History course that I later took. I suppose if you really enjoy art; especially art by (and about) females; this book is worth reading.5 of 5 people found the following review helpful.
